The export allowance now counts distinct plans instead of every export you start. You can correct a plan, generate another proof or choose a different format without using an additional allowance during the same period. The “Plans exported” counter now reflects your actual work more accurately.
An evacuation plan can now be duplicated directly as an intervention plan. The new version opens with the right category, suitable instructions and a clear label in your plan list. This lets you reuse existing work instead of starting over.
Different floors now keep the same scale both on screen and in the PDF, making them easier to compare. In layout mode, each floor can also be moved and enlarged freely within the page. The result stays consistent while giving you more control over the composition.
You can now enter the exact length you want for a wall and choose which endpoint should stay fixed. Straight and curved walls keep their direction and adjust precisely. Lengths shown on curved walls are also more reliable, including in exports.
An AI plan analysis now continues in the background even if you leave the page or close your browser. The plan is completed automatically once processing finishes. If it fails, the credit used is returned automatically so you can try again with confidence.
After buying a one-time export, Fabrik now confirms more clearly that the payment has been received. The export window reopens automatically as soon as the purchase is validated, even when synchronization takes a few seconds. This avoids returning to a plan without knowing what to do next.
Sign-up, onboarding, plan and export screens now explain more clearly what is included with each offer. Print-proof previews are shown only when available, while final exports remain clearly indicated for one-time purchases or subscriptions. Users see fewer ambiguous options and better understand the next step.
The dialogs used to edit a plan’s properties or duplicate it have been aligned with the rest of the interface. They close more naturally, stay better framed and keep important actions in the right place. Day-to-day plan management feels more predictable and pleasant.
Fabrik now checks images added in profile and company settings more carefully. Unsupported formats or oversized files are reported with a clear message before upload. This reduces errors when customizing your account and documents.
After creating a plan, Fabrik better avoids sending small screens into the full editor when it is not suited for mobile use. Users are guided more clearly instead of landing on an interface that is difficult to handle. The flow stays more consistent between plan creation and desktop editing.
Document elements that ended up completely outside the page are now automatically brought back into an accessible area. This applies to intervention plans, legends, instructions, title blocks, logos, text, shapes and media. You keep control of your layout, even after resizing or reopening an older plan.
Compliance checks are now reserved for evacuation and intervention plans, where their rules actually apply. For fire safety system, intrusion or video-surveillance plans, Fabrik no longer shows irrelevant warnings or unnecessary options. The interface is easier to understand and avoids unjustified blockers.
On fire safety system plans, the pictogram panel now focuses on fire detection and equipment that truly belongs to this plan type. Less relevant categories, such as extinguishers or generic technical equipment, no longer clutter the selection. Search follows the same filtering so the right symbol is easier to find.
The AI Credits tab now reflects the action that is actually available today: analyzing an imported plan while keeping walls, doors and windows. The displayed cost matches real usage and monthly consumption is easier to verify. Older rows that always stayed at zero have been removed to avoid confusion.
When a trial has ended, Fabrik now recognizes it more clearly and offers the available plans again instead of leaving the user stuck on the previous status. The subscription flow is more reliable when moving from an expired trial to an active plan. This makes getting back to work simpler and more reassuring.
You can now rename the labels shown in the automatic legend in document mode. This helps adapt a pictogram to a site’s vocabulary, clarify an area, or make a plan easier for the end customer to read. Default names remain available whenever you want to switch back.
Messages around unlocking a plan, buying an export, and print-proof previews are clearer. Fabrik also checks that the relevant plan is loaded and belongs to the right account before starting payment. This helps prevent mistaken purchases and makes export limits easier to understand.
The terms of use have been updated to explain more clearly how Fabrik may improve its AI services using anonymized data. The text reiterates that you keep your rights over your plans for your own use. Contact information has also been aligned with Fabrik’s official address.
A new cabling tool arrives for fire safety (SSI), intrusion and video-surveillance plans: lasso the equipment you want to connect and the cable linking them is drawn automatically. The line style and routing (chain or loop) adapt to the plan family, and the new cable is selected right away so you can fine-tune it. The tool is available from the toolbar or with the "C" shortcut.
You can now import SVG files (logos, vector pictograms) in the Media tab and as a custom image in your safety instructions, on top of the PNG, JPEG and WebP formats. Two issues are fixed along the way: SVGs whose colors are defined by styles were displaying entirely in black, and some images added to the instructions were not actually being saved. Colors are now preserved and imports complete reliably.
When you changed the plan orientation (North, South, East, West), catalog pictograms did not always follow the rotation and ended up misaligned. They now pivot with the plan, while the north arrow, the "You are here" marker and text labels stay upright and readable. The PDF and SVG export matches exactly what you see in the editor.
Right after a new version goes live, some pages (such as "My plans" or PDF export) and some editor windows (export, DXF import, intervention plan, plan duplication) could fail to load if your tab had stayed open. The app now retries automatically, then refreshes once if needed, so it recovers on its own without any action from you.
When you deleted a custom layer, the elements it contained (pictograms, zones, text and more) stayed attached to a layer that no longer existed and became hard to manage. They are now moved automatically to an existing layer, across every floor of the plan, so none of them get stranded.
On video-surveillance and intrusion plans, cameras, coverage zones and symbols such as the north arrow could be attached to a layer that does not exist for these plan types, risking misplaced or missing elements. New elements are now placed on a layer that is actually present, and affected existing plans are repaired automatically when you open them (including when a draft is restored).
Video-surveillance plans had no dedicated pictograms. You now have 7 ready-to-use symbols (dome and PTZ dome cameras, bullet, turret, control screen, NVR recorder and power supply), grouped in a dedicated "Video surveillance" category. They are added automatically to the legend and to PDF and SVG exports.
When you export a safety-instructions block, its full design is now saved with it: the custom image and the layout preset. Exporting and then re-importing restores exactly what you saw on screen, even across accounts, and your existing instruction files still import. A brand-new blank plan also no longer carries over the previous plan's instructions, image or block position.
In layout mode, enlarging a block (such as the plan) caused its content to spill off the white sheet onto the surrounding grey area. Content that runs past the edge is now cleanly hidden at the page border, while the selection frame and handles stay reachable for resizing. Your PDF and PNG exports are unchanged.
In some cases an already-saved plan could reopen blank, with an empty or stale local draft overwriting the plan that had just loaded. A draft is now restored only when it is both newer than the server version and actually contains content; otherwise it is discarded. A "conflict" alert that sometimes appeared by mistake while saving has also been removed.
When the plan was rotated, lines, rectangles, circles, polylines, evacuation arrows and zones were drawn offset by 90, 180 or 270 degrees from the cursor. Drawing now follows the cursor faithfully: both the preview and the final shape land exactly where you click, whatever the plan's orientation.
A new "Text size" setting (8 to 48 pt) is available in the banner properties panel in layout mode. You can now scale the "EVACUATION PLAN / INTERVENTION PLAN" title up or down, both on screen and in your exports.
Plan rotation is now preserved when switching to document mode, and the plan no longer drifts off screen when rotated. When you return to the editor, the plan reappears exactly as you left it: zoom and position are restored.
Some accounts could get stuck with an unexpected technical error when creating a new plan. The root cause has been fixed: plan creation works again for everyone.
Behind-the-scenes stability work: multi-account workspaces are better tested, scheduled tasks are better protected, and data has been brought into full consistency. Nothing changes on screen, but the app is more dependable day to day.
Payment confirmation emails sent in bursts are no longer lost, and subscription syncing with Stripe is more resilient to incidents. Access to sensitive database functions has been locked down and session privacy reinforced.
Exported PDFs came out blurry when the plan was built on an imported background (PDF or image). Backgrounds are now processed in high resolution (300 DPI) at import time: affected exports are about twice as sharp. Plans drawn entirely in Fabrik were already sharp and are unchanged.
Plan quotas now reset only once per cycle, on your subscription anniversary date, instead of twice a month. Duplicating a plan now counts toward the quota and suggests the right subscription tier when you hit the limit.
Doors and windows now follow the real thickness of the wall they sit in — thin for a partition, wide for an exterior wall — in the editor as well as in PDF and SVG exports. Changing a wall's thickness updates its openings instantly.
Scale recalibration, renaming or hiding a layer, the safety team, emergency numbers and annotations are now always saved automatically — no more silent losses after a reload.
After an undo (Ctrl+Z), a restored wall could become invisible or impossible to select. Undo and redo now rebuild the plan correctly: restored elements are visible and selectable again.
The background image (scanned or imported plan) is now reliably preserved on save: it always reappears when you reopen the plan.
The description, format, orientation, building and plan type chosen in the creation wizard are now saved correctly, in particular for video surveillance plans.
The legend generated automatically in document mode now includes your imported pictograms, complete with their image, alongside the ISO pictograms from the catalog.
New tools dedicated to video plans: draw your cameras' coverage zones (translucent green areas with adjustable color and opacity) and number each camera automatically. Numbering badges can sit inside or outside the pictogram, and show up on screen as well as in exports.
An already-saved plan (notably video surveillance) could reopen on the import screen as if it were empty: that is fixed. If you leave the editor before a save finishes, the newer local draft is now restored and saved automatically on reopening, and a failed save is clearly flagged instead of wrongly showing "Saved".
Fixed an issue that could wipe a plan's content (mostly video surveillance and intrusion plans): an empty save could overwrite your work after an internal editor reload. The editor no longer resets itself mid-edit, and now refuses to save an empty version over a plan that contains elements — without raising false failure alerts while you navigate.
Stricter validation of imported files (images and SVG), notification links restricted to the app to prevent external redirects, Stripe payment flows secured end to end, and sensitive data cleared on sign-out. PDF exports and long AI jobs also get extended timeouts for better reliability.
"Process with AI" now runs in the background with progress tracking: large plans are no longer cut off by timeouts before the analysis finishes. If processing fails, your AI credit is refunded automatically.
Doors and windows are now created at their real-world size (90 cm and 120 cm) regardless of the plan's scale. The zone properties panel updates instantly, text changes (content, size, rotation) are properly tracked by Undo/Redo, and the toolbar highlights the correct active symbol (assembly point, "You are here", north arrow).
After a successful DXF import, the view now automatically recenters on the imported plan — no more seemingly empty canvas. Import now supports legacy polyline formats from CAD software, and a warning message lists unsupported elements instead of reporting a misleading success.
Before running AI processing on an imported plan, a confirmation dialog now shows the expected reliability level based on your establishment's ERP category (public-access building type), reminds you of your duty to verify the result (ISO 7010 / NF X08-070) and shares import tips. A dedicated warning flags the AI's limits on open-air venues (type X).
Our new pricing is here: a redesigned subscription page that makes plans easier to compare, one-off export packs, and unlimited print proof (BAT) previews reserved for paid plans. Existing customers keep their current terms — nothing to do on your end.
Member limits per organization are now aligned with the new pricing, with clearer invitations when the quota is reached. Seat counts adjust automatically when you change or cancel a subscription, with no undue charges when extra seats renew.
Beyond evacuation plans, you can now create SSI (fire safety system) plans, intrusion alarm plans and video surveillance plans. The creation wizard lets you pick a family, and the editor adapts automatically: pictograms, safety instructions, layers and PDF exports all match the chosen family. The dashboard shows a badge on each plan, with filters to find every type in one click.
The cookie banner is replaced by a clear consent dialog shown on your first visit: declining is as easy as accepting, in line with CNIL recommendations.
Custom plans with unlimited AI credits are now recognized correctly. The next billing date also shows the exact time of the charge.
No more crashes when moving curved walls connected to drawings. Intervention plan legends no longer show duplicate pictograms, safety instructions stay consistent when you change the plan type, and isolated wall endpoints render more cleanly.
Disabling two-factor authentication (2FA) now requires re-entering your password. And if the same plan is open in several tabs, a warning banner stays permanently visible in the secondary tab so you don't overwrite your changes.
Password reset emails stopped going out after just a few requests per hour: delivery now runs through a dedicated service with no rate limit. The email also arrives in a new template in Fabrik's colors.
Converting an evacuation plan into an intervention plan now correctly captures every floor, and the PDF export completes every time. Blue selection handles no longer show up in the exported document, even if a floor was selected at export time.
You now enter your name and company in the very first onboarding step, rather than through a pop-up in the editor. Your first plan-creation session is never interrupted again.
A slider in the instructions block's properties panel lets you enlarge the text up to 300% (up from 160%), keeping instructions perfectly readable even on large-format prints. When resizing, the block compacts empty space first before shrinking the text.
Data access has been sped up: your plan list and notification center now load noticeably faster, especially for accounts and organizations with many plans.
You will no longer receive the same reminder or digest twice, even if a technical incident hits on the sending side. And if a plan's data could not be read on load, autosave now pauses to avoid overwriting your work.
Switching or deleting a floor no longer runs room detection on the wrong level. Merging walls now removes orphaned doors and windows, selection stays consistent after cascading deletions, and undo/redo now covers the background image and the emergency number.
A "Book a demo" button is now available in the dashboard and the editor: it opens the scheduling calendar directly so you can talk with the Fabrik team. The prompt also appears at the right moments, for example after viewing the subscription page.
Dashboard pages now display better on tablets and small screens: tighter spacing, resized plan cards and thumbnails, and adjusted side panels that leave more room for your content.
The plan editor is designed for desktop use. On screens narrower than 1024 px, a clear message now offers to go back to your plans or continue anyway, instead of an unusable interface.
Directional pictograms (evacuation arrows, emergency exits) now rotate with the plan so they always point in the right direction, while standard pictograms (fire extinguisher, assembly point, first aid) stay upright and readable.
When you enable "Show legend", it now appears right in your field of view instead of popping back at its old spot, sometimes far across the canvas. No more scrolling around to find it after switching plans or zoom levels.
The Enterprise contact form works again, welcome emails are automatically resent if delivery fails, and reminder campaigns (trial ending, plan not exported, reactivation and more) now go out daily as intended. The daily digest also arrives at the time you chose, in Paris time.
Following a full security audit, isolation between accounts has been hardened: AI credits, export counters, plan files and thumbnails are strictly restricted to their owner. Automatic notification URLs pointing to your external tools are also verified to block any malicious redirect.
Purchases of AI credits and extra seats are now handled as a single safe operation: no more missing credits or duplicates if something goes wrong during payment. The Discovery plan now unlocks correctly after purchase, even without an active subscription.
Opening the same plan in several tabs no longer causes save conflicts. Background images are now stored in an optimized way, making your plans lighter and faster to save, and autosave no longer fires needlessly when you open a plan.

Fixed a bug that could lose the ground floor's content when adding a new floor. Floor operations now trigger an immediate save, and deleting a floor no longer leaves orphaned references in the plan.
No more "Save conflict" messages wrongly appearing when opening certain plans: saving and thumbnail generation no longer get in each other's way, and a transient conflict is now resolved automatically without interrupting your work.
Reserved tools and pictograms now show a tooltip explaining how to unlock them, and they can no longer be bypassed via drag and drop.
The sidebar now lists every element in your plan (walls, rooms, pictograms, annotations and more) with a thumbnail. Hide, lock, locate or delete any element in one click; selecting an element on the plan automatically highlights it in the list.
When a PDF export fails, the message now tells you the actual cause of the error. Your quota is checked before PNG and SVG exports, and payment emails and refund handling have been made more reliable.
When duplicating a floor, choose exactly which elements to copy over (walls, pictograms, annotations and more). You can also right-click rectangles and circles to add leader lines and annotate your plans.
Print proof exports no longer consume your monthly export quota, and the BAT option is available directly from the layout mode download dialog.
The invitation link to join an organization works again. Export quotas and member roles are now enforced server-side, and your subscription loads faster when you open the app.
The scissors tool now offers preset opening widths (70, 90 or 120 cm) as well as a custom value, so you can cut openings into your walls at the exact dimension you need.
An evacuation project with several plans now exports as a single multi-page PDF. Intervention plan capture has also been fixed.
